Updated: Jun 6

The Gateway Initiative is pleased to announce and congratulate Tyler Morgan on her successful graduation from Leadership Baldwin County's Class of 2024. Tyler continues to develop her leadership skills and enhance her ability to make a positive impact on our community.

Leadership Baldwin County is a program dedicated to identifying and nurturing current and potential leaders within Baldwin County. The program brings together individuals from various sectors across the county, fostering a county-wide perspective on addressing key issues. Throughout the year, participants engaged in monthly sessions hosted at different locations within Baldwin County, culminating in a final session in Montgomery, where they had the opportunity to meet with elected officials and gain insights into the legislative process.

Tyler Morgan was selected from a highly competitive pool of applicants to represent the two chambers of commerce in south Baldwin County for the 2024 Leadership Baldwin County class. Her participation in this program underscores her commitment to leadership and community service, aligning with the mission of Gateway Initiative to drive regional economic development and workforce solutions.

"We congratulate Tyler and her commitment to professional growth," said Travis Valentine, COO of the South Baldwin Chamber and Gateway Team member. "Her journey through Leadership Baldwin County exemplifies the spirit of leadership and service that we value. We look forward to seeing the positive impact Tyler will continue to make in our community."

During the program year, the participants of Leadership Baldwin are divided into sub-groups of like minded interest to create a program or project to benefit the community in a specific area. This group pictured above hosted the 7th Annual Clays for A's event. Clays for A’s is a clay shooting competition founded and continued as a service project through Leadership Baldwin County that supports students in Baldwin County Public Schools. With the help of over 30 teams and numerous sponsors, they were able to raise over $20,000 to give the education enrichments of Baldwin County, once of which was the South Baldwin Chamber Foundation.
